There are numerous excursion destinations such as the famous Mummelsee, which can be reached on foot directly from the apartment (steadily rising, but mostly on good, wide hiking trails).

Likewise, the world-famous Black Forest High Road, the secluded Wildsee, several romantic Black Forest mills, the visitor center at the Ruhestein National Park, the Silbergründle visitor mine (also within walking distance from us), the observation towers on the Hornisgrinde summit and much more.
